Speeding, alcohol and narcotics

Most of the suspensions (291) concern speeding of 40 km/h above the regulations.

Nearly 200 people were fined for driving under the influence of alcohol while 85 others were fined for driving under the influence of narcotics, detail the authorities.

The winter period is approaching, the prefecture reminds that, within the framework of the Mountain law, motorists will have to equip themselves with winter tires, chains or socks and invites them to be vigilant.

It also urges other road users (pedestrians, cyclists, etc.) to wear light-colored clothes to be visible at night.
