this Thursday, wooden badges for the ski lifts will be offered.
The aim is to reduce the impact of plastic on the environment.
Classic operation
According to Sagets, the manager of the Les Gets ski area, this would be a first in France.
Eventually, these new wooden cards should replace the 40,000 passes put into circulation every winter.
And the regulars will not be lost.
Wooden objects work in a classic way.
They are thus equipped with an RFID chip and are rechargeable online, specify our colleagues.
