The mayor (Nupes) of Fontenay-sous-Bois (Val-de-Marne), Jean-Philippe Gautrais, signed a partnership with the Family Mutual on Wednesday.

, this agreement will allow citizens who wish to benefit from a municipal mutual at unbeatable prices.

According to figures from the primary health insurance fund (CPAM), more than 7,600 Fontenaysiens out of 53,000 are currently without mutual health insurance.

“Between 20 and 25% of the population must be concerned”, estimates the city councilor.

No age limit

This municipal mutual will be accessible to all with immediate effect membership.

No age limit is imposed and the rates will remain unchanged until December 31, 2024. It is also expected that users will benefit from a charge of 0, starting from the first level.

To find out more, residents are invited to attend the public meetings which will be organized next Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Jacques-Brel room or Friday, December 9 at the Aimé Matterrax pensioners' club.
