At Tofuku-ji Temple in Kyoto City, visitors are entertained by the scenery called "A sea of clouds in autumn leaves."

There is a valley in the precincts of Tofukuji Temple in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City, and about 2000 maple trees are planted.

From the Tsutenkyo Bridge that spans the grounds, you can look out over the red, orange, and yellow valleys, and the scenery is also said to be the "sea of clouds in the autumn leaves."

This year, about a week earlier than usual, the leaves began to turn colors in early November, and the peak of the season is just around the corner.

According to the temple, due to the moderate amount of rain this year, the leaves have not withered and are colored more beautifully than usual.

There is a promenade in the gorge, and visitors enjoyed watching the colorful autumn leaves and taking pictures.

A parent and child who visited from Yokohama said, "Looking down from above, the color of the red gradation is very beautiful, and I was really moved by the feeling that I was in the sea of autumn leaves."

You can enjoy autumn leaves at Tofukuji until early December.
