The tears of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect and preserve him, were not when he heard the reading of his touching novel about his mother, Sheikha Latifa bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on her;

Those precious tears that flowed abundantly were not transient tears, but were tears of sympathy over the pain of loss that occurred 40 years ago, and those years have passed and the memory of His Highness still overflows with feelings of righteousness and loyalty, as if she died not long ago.

The narration of that story was an impressive and wondrous narration, and God knows that my expression flowed on my cheek without affectation, and before I realized the expressions of the pleasure of her liver, and dearest of her children, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, who coordinated that autobiographical narration from the depths of his heart and the fullness of his mind, for a great and great grandfather who deeply influenced his mother About which he said more than once: Who is like my mother?!

Yes, who is like a mother who gave birth to the greatest man of our time?!

What mother gave birth to an exceptional knight and commander, a wise politician, and a skilled economist, as she gave birth to Sheikha Latifa?!

She gave birth to him from among her soil and nourished him with her frankincense from which the outstanding genius sprouted, and from which was the narration expressing this ideal mother, may God have mercy on her, so it is not surprising that precious tears flow when hearing these lofty exploits, as if I, by God’s neighbor, Zamakhshari, was present at this scene on the day he lamented his sheikh. Abu Mudar says:

And she said: What are these pearls that * fell from your eyes two thick ones?

So I said to her: It is the pearl that he had stuffed * Abu Mudar. My ears are falling from my eyes.

Yes, they are the tears of the memory of tenderness, the memory of nourishment, the memory of upbringing, the memory of pains, and the memory of loneliness after intimacy, so it is not surprising that tears of sympathy descend without permission, so that they resonate in every living heart that lived in the bosom of a tender mother, who has only lost her after having tasted of Her bliss is what perpetuates her memory.

If a mother gave birth, nurtured, raised, and sympathized with a child whom she was marked to be the lonely one of his life, it is worthy of him to write about her such a superior novel that pens fall short of narrating the like of it, and it is worthy of shedding tears at her remembrance, whether when narrating that great narration, or when swaying imagination in her memory .

The great truth is from this narration first, and from the heart of it at this time secondly;

That in it is a directive to know the position of the mother and what is obligatory for her of righteousness and kindness in her life, and what is obligatory for her of fulfillment after her death. Righteousness is a religion, as stated in the hadith: “Dignify your fathers as your children honor you.”

Yes, those precious tears were dear to us, and affected the conscience of every follower, except that we knew the extent of this great man’s loyalty to his mother and father, and this loyalty is the manner with which people are praised, and it is obligatory for every person to be endowed with it, especially with the unparalleled mother The mother from whose soil one grows, feeds on her viscera, lives in her bosom, and is pleased with the goodness of her scent and the beauty of her intimacy. This mother should not be absent from one’s memory.

Because she is the one who led a person to be a meaningful man, or a rich mother, so whoever does not justify her during her life, and does not fulfill her after her death, that is because of a defect in his humanity, he needs psychological treatment in order to return to a normal human being.

The narration of that story was an impressive and wondrous narration, and God knows that my expression flowed on my cheek without affectation, and before I noticed the expressions of her liver's pleasure.
