Postage stamp on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed International Photography Award.
Dubai leaders.. 3 generations celebrate creativity
The Emirates Post Group, in cooperation with the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award, issued a commemorative photographic stamp, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the award.
The commemorative stamp bears three luminous images that reflect the creative visual passion inherited by three generations of the leaders of the Emirate of Dubai and the pillars of the comprehensive leadership of the United Arab Emirates: the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, may God rest his soul, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy The President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, is the founder and sponsor of the award.
Abdullah Mohammed Al Ashram, CEO of Emirates Post Group, said: “We are pleased to launch the new commemorative postal edition on the occasion of the decade since the establishment of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award.
Through this photographic character, we celebrate the role of the award and its remarkable contributions in motivating and encouraging distinguished people in the fields of visual arts, providing a platform that brings together national and international photography talents, and celebrates the creators in employing the photographic lens as a tool to summarize and perpetuate human experiences.

This postal release celebrates ten years of the award's distinction and uniqueness in terms of its presence and importance, the diversity of its axes and its wide reach, and its growing role in celebrating creativity and success stories in the arts of photography.
We are proud that this award continues to reflect Dubai's passion for leadership and creativity, inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, founder and sponsor of the award.
It is noteworthy that His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum established the award in 2011. Since its inception, the award has honored many creators, professionals and enthusiasts of photography from around the world, during 10 seasons during which the award celebrated human messages, values and various axes, starting with « The love of the Earth” in the season (2011-2012), leading to “Humanity” in the season (2020-2021).
The award adopted "Nature" as its main focus in its 11th season.
