In Tokyo, applications for paper "analog" tickets began on the 10th for premium meal tickets for "Go To Eat", a measure to stimulate eating out demand.

People visited the place where the postcards for application were installed from the morning one after another.

"Go To Eat" premium meal tickets can be used as meal tickets for 12,500 yen if purchased from the 10th for 10,000 yen per set in addition to the "digital ticket" that has already been on sale. Acceptance of application for "analog ticket" has begun.

Applications can be made using postcards and smartphones, and application postcards are available at approximately 350 locations in Tokyo.

Among these, at the Edogawa Ward Office, people living nearby visited the counter one after another from the morning and received postcards.

"Go To Eat" meal tickets with a premium began to be sold in November in Tokyo, and were immediately suspended due to the spread of the new corona infection.

This time, it was reopened while the number of infected people increased.

A 67-year-old man who came to pick up the postcard said, "I've used it before, so I thought I'd apply again this time. If I win, I'd like to go out to dinner with his wife at a slightly more expensive restaurant."

A 50-year-old office worker said, ``I didn't apply last time because I didn't know what would happen with the coronavirus. I want to do it."

On the other hand, applications from smartphones will be accepted from 2:00 pm on the 10th.

It is on a first-come, first-served basis every day, but the number of issues is not announced.

The application period is until December 25th, and the available period is until January 25th next year.
