In 2017, Michel Sardou announced that he would never sing again.

Four and a half years after his very last concert, the 75-year-old singer has visibly changed his mind.

In an interview with "Parisien" on November 10, he explains that his wife "blackmailed" him to get him back on stage.

Never say never... More than four years after promising that he would never sing again, Michel Sardou has just announced that he will be back on stage for a (new) final "thank you" tour, entitled

I remember of a farewell

.

"I don't say goodbye to come back three years later"

The 75-year-old singer therefore changed his mind and agreed to go back on stage from October 2023 for a 33-date tour, can we read in the columns of

Parisian.

Tickets will go on sale Monday.

The tour should start on October 3, 2023 at the Zénith de Rouen.

And, it will end on Saturday March 16, 2024, at Paris La Défense Arena.

How can such a reversal be explained?

"I don't say goodbye to come back three years later. When I say things, I do them," the artist told Le

Parisien

in May 2021.

Michel Sardou gave in because of "blackmail" from his wife

Meanwhile, his wife threatened to leave him if he did not come back on stage.

So, Michel Sardou has agreed to say goodbye once again to his beloved audience so as not to lose his beloved.

“She threatened to leave me and go back to her brother… She blackmailed me!” confides the star to

Parisian

this Thursday, November 10.

"I didn't want to come back… But I got screwed in the big widths by my wife."

On the program of this (new) final tour of Sardou: "a surprising version of Connemara and forgotten songs, like

Let's talk about you, about me

 and

I remember a goodbye

."

The 75-year-old singer, however, will not release a new album.

"I tried to write a new song just for the tour, but I don't have the inspiration," he explains to

Parisian.

His fans will therefore be content with a reinterpretation of all his great hits...
