Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was told by his American masters to feign readiness for peace talks with Russia, and he did.

It just seems that during the presidency his acting abilities were somewhat blown and dispelled, so it turned out to be completely implausible.

"I do not believe!"

Stanislavsky would say.

And if the American publication Politico for some reason writes about the “softening” of Kyiv’s position, they say that earlier Zelensky generally forbade himself by law to negotiate with Putin, and now, look, he is ready to talk.

That's just the conditions that he puts forward, could be somehow considered if the victorious Ukrainian army was in Moscow.

And that’s not a fact - the capture of Moscow did not help Napoleon to defeat Russia, and Zelensky, although he played Napoleon in the vulgar comedy about Lieutenant Rzhevsky, only adopted pathos from the prototype.

Therefore, we have to agree with the assessment of the situation that sounded in the media: "Ukraine doubles the rigidity of its position."

And this means that there will be no negotiations yet.

There is simply nothing to talk about.

Although I never tire of being amazed at our diplomats, who, in response to any insults from Kyiv, still continue to remind that Russia is ready for negotiations without any additional conditions.

Of course, America was very lucky with Zelensky, but the people of Ukraine are exactly the opposite.

I believe that both Petro Poroshenko and other politicians of the old formation would have started, held, and completed negotiations with Moscow long ago.

Actually, with all the fair criticism that Poroshenko deserved, he nevertheless concluded the Minsk peace agreements.

Yes, then they were categorically not implemented, and therefore Poroshenko lost the elections, and Zelensky, who promised to achieve peace, came to power ... and deceived.

Nevertheless, at least it was possible to talk with Poroshenko.

And Poroshenko was ready to talk.

Zelensky, on the other hand, does not seem to be able to realize that the deaths of thousands of people at the front are quite real, that blood is shed on the battlefields, and not cranberry juice, as in the movies he is used to.

He very deeply entered the role of the “heroic defender of the nation”, which is not at all like the intelligent and rooting for the people President Goloborodko from the series “Servant of the People”, thanks to which he was elected.

And now he can’t get out of the image in any way, and it seems that he won’t get out, no matter how events develop.

The result is a schizophrenic picture.

Russian citizens look in horror at the Ukrainian rural cemeteries with fresh graves, the Russian leadership speaks of sympathy for the incredible suffering of the Ukrainian people, and only cries are heard from Ukraine: “More weapons, give us more weapons, we will go on the offensive, and we don’t care about the victims.” !"

Moreover, the inhabitants of the United States and the European Union are also gradually beginning to realize that they, to put it mildly, were deceived when they said that they should support Ukraine for the sake of democratic values.

Several governments in Europe have already changed, doing more for Kyiv than for their fellow citizens.

The Americans expressed their attitude towards the militant Democratic Party, supporting the Republicans calling for dealing with internal problems.

Therefore, there is no doubt that Western aid, needlessly prolonging the agony of Ukraine, will decrease and decrease until it completely disappears.

As a result, Zelensky will either flee to the West himself, or be overthrown, or they will make a sacred sacrifice out of him - all options are possible, except for a solemn entry on a white horse into the defeated Donetsk or de-Russified Crimea.

We will have to negotiate - the Americans regularly talk about this, they just can’t get used to the idea that all their multibillion-dollar investments in Ukraine were meaningless and negotiations are impossible on Kyiv’s terms.

There is no doubt that at the same time, Zelensky will certainly enter Ukrainian history - on a par with the traitor Mazepa, the cruel murderer Petliura and the terrorist Bandera.

But none of the above - neither Mazepa, nor Petlyura, nor Bandera - could bring such suffering to the Ukrainian people and cause such a huge number of senseless deaths as Zelensky.
