Around 5:40 pm on the 9th, there was a pile-up accident in which two trucks, a passenger car, and a mini passenger car collided one after another on Route 4, which was congested in Iisawa, Shirakawa City.



In this accident, two Chinese nationals, a man and a woman, who were riding in one of the two trucks hit their heads and chests and were taken to the hospital. He died an hour later, and the man who was driving also died in the early hours of the 10th, about seven hours later.
