According to the police, around 3:30 am on the 10th, there was an accident involving a total of four trucks near the Atsugi Interchange on the outbound line of the Tomei Expressway in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture.



In this accident, 3 cars were wrecked, 2 of them caught fire, and 3 people on each of them died.

Other than that, no one was injured.



The driver of the truck that was running in the front told the police, ``After two loud bangs, the car body was hit hard.''



The scene is a straight road with three lanes on each side, and the police are hurrying to confirm the identity and investigating the details of the accident.



Due to this accident, the outbound line between the Atsugi Interchange and the Isehara Junction on the Tomei Expressway is closed to traffic.
