After Paul Rudd, alias Antman, it is the American actor Chris Evans who has been crowned the "sexiest man in the world" by the American magazine "People", which has been awarding this prize since 1985. Known for having embodied the role of Captain America in the Marvel universe, Chris Evans, 41, is now trying to play in films other than blockbusters.
We saw him in "Knives Out", alongside Daniel Craig.
"My mother is going to be so happy. She's proud of everything I do, but now she can really brag about it," said Chris Evans with humor after being awarded the very prestigious title of man "the sexiest in the world" by the American magazine
People.
The American actor, known for having embodied the superhero Captain America nine times in the Marvel universe, succeeds Paul Rudd, alias Antman.

In his interview with
People magazine,
Chris Evans confides in his new ambitions in the cinema.
"The most enjoyable thing right now in my career is this feeling of being safe enough to take a break. I feel like I have more freedom to step back away from this industry to find projects that will satisfy my creative needs," says the Boston native.
Since quitting being Captain America, the actor has tried to branch out.
He notably lent his voice to Buzz Lightyear in an animated film, and made an appearance in the detective comedy
Knives Out
, in 2019. We have also recently been able to see him in the role of a villain in moustache, opposite Ryan Gosling, in the thriller
The Gray Man
, which was a big hit this summer on Netflix.
