A driver of Tokyu Corporation was arrested at a station on the Odakyu Odawara Line in Kawasaki City for opening the door of a train just before departure from the home using an emergency device.

The driver is believed to have boarded the train as it is, and the police are investigating in detail.

According to the police and others, in the early morning of July 20, at Kakio Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line in Asao Ward, Kawasaki City, someone arbitrarily operated an emergency device on the side of the train from the platform just before departure. I opened the train door and the train was delayed by about 5 minutes.



When the police proceeded with the investigation on suspicion of forcible obstruction of business by interfering with the operation of the train, it was found that Tokyu Electric Railway driver Tomohiko Yasuda (43), who lives in Asao Ward, Kawasaki City, was suspected of being involved. I was arrested that day.



According to the police, Yasuda is believed to have entered the train through the open door, and denied the charges, saying, "I have no doubt that I did it, but I have no intention of interfering with the operation of the train." That's it.



According to Odakyu Electric Railway, the emergency equipment that was operated was not for general passengers, and the police are investigating the details.



Regarding the arrest of the employee, Tokyu Corporation said, "We have not been able to confirm the detailed facts, and we would like to cooperate with the police investigation."
