Justice has opened a preliminary investigation after the confessions of Cardinal Ricard, who admitted on Monday to having had "reprehensible" behavior towards a teenager 35 years ago in Marseille.
“A preliminary investigation has been initiated to verify the elements of this revelation”, indicated the public prosecutor of Marseille, Dominique Laurens, specifying that “no complaint” has been filed for the moment.
