Since the publication of a message on Facebook Monday, October 31, several Internet users have described security problems on certain rides at the Saint-Romain fair in Rouen (Seine-Maritime).

These people thus described safety harnesses which loosened and which would not be checked on the La Turbine ride, an attraction perched 70 meters away, reports France 3 Normandy.

Several denials

In another ride, the Megadancer, another harness problem was reportedly noticed by a young woman.

Finally, in the XXL carousel, another passenger allegedly jumped out of her seat at the start of the ride after feeling that her harness was not tight enough.

Contacted, Franck Pfausser, the owner of La Turbine, assured that the harnesses were checked every morning.

In addition, the attraction would be managed by an automaton capable of detecting any harness problem.

Thus, for André Cottin, president of the defense committee of the Saint-Romain fair, these rumors are linked to people's emotions.

Kader Chekhemani, deputy mayor of Rouen, also indicated that he had received "no official report" for the time being.
