An investigation was opened after the discovery on Monday of the body of a young man who disappeared overnight from Saturday to Sunday after a rave party in Petit-Couronne, near Rouen, we learned from a judicial source.

This young man had "it seems he participated in the rave party" and "an investigation is open to find the causes of death", according to the public prosecutor of Rouen Frédéric Teillet who confirms information from the local media according to which the young man had been missing since the end of the rave party.

, the body of the young man, aged 22, was discovered on Monday by a postman in Petit-Couronne.

His mother had launched a call for witnesses on social networks and contacted the gendarmerie, according to 76 news.

According to the prefecture of Seine-Maritime, "several hundred participants" gathered at an undeclared rave party between the night of Friday to Saturday and Sunday at the end of the day on a disused industrial site in the activity zone of Grand-Launay, in Grand-Quevilly.



In a press release on Monday, the prefecture specifies that the prefect had issued an order "prohibiting any festive gathering of a musical nature such as a rave party".

At the end of the two days, the police carried out 646 verbalizations, including 473 for "non-compliance with the prefectural decree" and two police custody for "contempt and rebellion".
