He got tired of pushing his wife's wheelchair and threw her in the ocean

After forty years of servicing his 79-year-old wife, including pushing her wheelchair, 81-year-old Hiroshi Fujiwara decided that was enough and threw her off a pier into the ocean to her death.

The Japanese police arrested Hiroshi, who did not deny the charge.

He told police that his 79-year-old wife had been in a wheelchair for 40 years, and that he had become "exhausted from pushing her all that time."

Hiroshi, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, was arrested after he confessed to police that he killed his wife.

The accident happened last Wednesday, according to a report by "Japan Today." According to local police, Fujiwara drove his wife to the ocean shore where he drove her along a pier, after walking with her for a short while took her to the edge of the pier where he pushed her into the sea.

He then drove to his son's home where he allegedly confessed.

Law enforcement received two calls related to the case, according to the Daily Star, the first from a fisherman who found the woman's body floating in the water, and the second from the son of the man who made the call after his father confessed to killing his wife.
