Global Village wins two international awards

Global Village, one of the world's largest cultural parks and the region's premier family destination for culture, entertainment and shopping, has won two prestigious global awards, from the British Royal Society for Accident Reduction and the British Safety Council, in recognition of its distinguished management in the field of health and safety.

The RoSPA Gold Award for Safety of Entertainment, won by Global Village this year, honors excellence in health and safety management among companies that are primarily concerned with providing direct services to guests and visitors.

Nearly 2,000 institutions compete for this award annually, for the highest and most prestigious honor awarded by the UK's oldest health and safety award.

Global Village also crowned its constant keenness to raise the standards of health and safety management in the workplace by receiving the prestigious “Sword of Honor” award from the British Safety Council for the fourth year in a row, in recognition of its outstanding management of health, safety and environmental risks.

The Council has been honoring Global Village annually by categorizing it in the five-star category in the field of health and safety.

To compete for the “Sword of Honor” award, Global Village had to obtain the highest rating, being five stars, in the health and safety audit conducted by the British Safety Council, in addition to presenting the required evidence before an independent jury of experts that proves that it has a proven track record of achievements and practices. Distinguished in the field of health and safety, starting from the workplace and all the way to the boardroom.

Global Village cemented its brilliance in this field, when in 2019 it became the first entertainment destination in the world to be awarded five stars in the occupational health and safety audit conducted by the British Safety Council.
