The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation has launched the website of the Dubai International Writing Program, which is considered one of the most prominent creative contributions to enriching the intellectual and literary movement in the UAE, and which presented through its affiliates many distinguished knowledge and literary products, as part of the Foundation's participation in the Sharjah International Fair. for the book.

The website currently includes the publications of the Dubai International Writing Program, which exceeded 144 different publications between novel, book, translation and science fiction, in addition to a selection of trainers working on training the affiliates, whose number exceeded 300.

The Foundation also organized, during its participation in the exhibition, a number of activities. On the first day, it held an introductory meeting for the members of the translation workshop, and on the second day, within the framework of its knowledge project, the Dubai International Writing Program, a symposium on translating self-development books and social problems, in addition to a symposium entitled “Why do we write for children?” ?”, discussed many issues related to writing for children, such as the distinction of this type of creative writing from other types of writing and its fields, and the need to employ certain technical elements and characteristics, the most important of which is thinking with the mind and imagination of the child.

The Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, Jamal bin Huwaireb, said that the Dubai International Writing Program is keen on continuous participation in the most important local, Arab and international exhibitions, with the aim of delivering the book to the reader at the lowest cost, to encourage reading.
