The Hérault prefecture has announced the administrative closure of two new night grocery stores in the city center of Montpellier.

The first concerns the fraudulent possession of contraband cigarettes for sale.

The store will be closed for fifteen days.

The second administrative closure is related to the sale of alcohol after 10 p.m. and the late closing of the establishment.

Located in the Saint-Roch district, the grocery store will be closed for seven days.

Regular closings

Night establishments have been regularly subject to administrative closures in recent months in the city center of Montpellier.

Most often for the sale of contraband cigarettes or alcohol outside authorized hours.
