During its 27th season, the Global Village has opened its gates to the public, who is waiting for its seasons from year to year, to travel on board to various countries of the world, and enjoy the cultures of peoples through their products, dishes and dance performances that will spread joy and enthusiasm through 40,000 shows and events presented on the main stage and theaters of country pavilions .

The first family destination for entertainment presents the cultures of the world through 27 pavilions, adjacent to each other, with architectural facades highlighting the civilizations of countries and consolidating the role of the village in promoting dialogue among peoples.

Updates

This season, Global Village added a set of updates that enrich the experience of visiting it and add to the fun of the experience, starting with the opening of a new gate called “Happiness Gate”, to facilitate the entry of visitors, to increasing the number of restaurants on Happiness Street, as well as adding some new games in The carnival area, which adds to the dose of joy it offers for all ages.

art performances

The Global Village organized a special meeting for the media to introduce the new services, including the performances that will be presented on the main stage in the village, and until April 29, 2023, the main theater will witness a wide range of artistic performances from different countries of the world.

Among the shows that the Global Village has begun to present to visitors is the “London Calling” show, which takes the audience on a special trip from Dubai to London on the footsteps of the dancers and music. That added to the aesthetics of the display.

This show is part of the shows that are presented daily on the main stage, where it will host many international dance groups, in addition to the artistic concerts of a group of stars of the Arab world. The first concerts will be held in the Global Village at the end of November.

Cabana sessions

One of the new services offered by the Global Village this year is “Kabana”, which are open rooms that contain beautiful circular designs, and can accommodate eight people, and can be booked by the hour or the day for family or friends, where they will have the opportunity to rest while providing these rooms for a waiter who By meeting their needs to complete the unique experience and enjoy the charm of the village.

Muhannad Ishaq pointed out that the village was keen to provide this new experience, because it seeks with each season to meet the needs of its visitors, after listening to their views on social media platforms and through the questionnaires that it puts after the end of each season, and taking into account all the needs that they look forward to Based on the studies we are constantly creating new experiences.

Regarding the questionnaires, Ishaq added that “the surveys showed in the last year that 90% of the visitors to the Global Village expressed their desire to visit the Global Village again, and this loyalty that was planted in the hearts of the visitors of the village is a source of pride for us, as the Global Village is a tourist landmark that attracts many Tourists and Visitors, and it won the Travelers’ Choice Award organized by Trip Advisor, and Global Village was among the 10 destinations that tourists are keen to visit.”

Regarding the adjustment in the date of the artistic concerts, Ishaq pointed out that the dates of the artistic concerts that were presented on Fridays over the past seasons have been modified, and will be presented on Wednesdays during this season, due to the severe crowding that the village witnessed on Fridays, when it was organizing parties because of Two categories of visitors flocked, the category that visits the village on vacation and is not interested in the artistic concert, and the category that visits the village specifically to attend the artistic concert.

The Global Village is considered the first family entertainment destination, and it succeeds in gaining the confidence of its visitors year after year, due to the enjoyable experiences it offers, in addition to the additions that it puts every year to add to its charm.

This year, the village will carry new entertainment experiences, characterized by the renovation of the horror house, which extends over an area of ​​660 square meters, and will also launch a helium balloon for the first time, while the “Ripples Believe It or Not” Museum of Wonders will present nearly 200 wonderful and strange exhibits, including about 50 exhibits.
