Jin, the eldest member of the group BTS, submitted a request for cancellation of enlistment.

According to Yonhap News on the 4th, Jin officially announced his intention to cancel the postponement of military service by submitting a 'application for cancellation of enlistment postponement' to the Military Manpower Administration on the same day.

Jin was born in 1992 and is 30 years old, and his enlistment has been delayed until the end of this year after receiving a recommendation from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to postpone his enlistment in accordance with the Military Service Act amended in 2020.

However, due to the submission of the 'Enlistment Cancellation Request' this time, Jin is expected to enlist as an active duty soldier as soon as the enlistment notice is issued.

A notice of enlistment is usually issued within three months of submitting the application for cancellation.

Jin is expected to enlist as early as this year.

Earlier, BTS' agency Big Hit Music announced that Jin applied for the postponement of his enlistment and would follow the enlistment procedure of the Military Manpower Administration.
