The Quebec diva, who was forced to postpone all the dates of her European tour to 2023 because of her health problems, announced to her fans that she would first be back… at the cinema!
The 54-year-old star will star in "Love again", a romantic comedy, alongside Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan.
Celine Dion fans had been waiting for news from the diva for several weeks… Her older sister Claudette had given some, but Celine had remained silent about her state of health and a potential return to the stage.
The star finally took everyone by surprise on Wednesday November 2 by announcing his big comeback… at the cinema!

The interpreter of For you to love me again will indeed be showing a romantic comedy called
Love again
, in cinemas on May 12, 2023. The Quebec star will play her own role.

Postponement of the dates of his European tour
Celine Dion will release new songs for the soundtrack of the film, produced by Sony.
The feature film, directed by Jim Strouse, tells the story of a young woman who continues to text her fiancé after his death.
A love affair is born between her and the new holder of the telephone number, a journalist who is then working on writing a portrait of Celine Dion.
Forced to rest for several months because of her poor state of health, the Quebec diva has postponed all the dates of her European tour to 2023. Her return to the cinema gives hope that she will return to the stage, as planned, in Paris La Defense Arena in early September 2023.
