This incident did not end at the gate of the restaurant, but rather turned into a storm of anger and condemnation through the social virtual space in France, Europe and even the United States, after a video clip documenting what happened spread.

In turn, an episode of "Shabakat" program (2/11/2022) sheds light on what happened in the restaurant and the massive reactions it caused and its repercussions.

Only a short time passed since the video was published, until angry campaigns were launched on the communication platforms accusing the owner of the restaurant of racism, and activists called for a boycott of the restaurant, and accordingly many re-evaluated the restaurant very low until it reached only two degrees.

Hundreds of activists wrote negative comments about the restaurant, the food, the staff, and the level of service in the restaurant.

After the topic spread, the Russian state agency, RIA Novosti, conducted an interview with the owner of the restaurant, and he explained his position, and said, “The policy is very complicated, and I understand it well, and when they told me you will see what will happen to you, this was also a threat, and this is forbidden, so I got angry and said Putin lives.” And I put it back again, Putin must defend his land and his people."

In a later development, a Ukrainian who lives in Paris went to the restaurant, met the manager, and after showing him the video clip, he asked him to apologize. The manager only confirmed his apologies to the Ukrainian people and not to the two women.

As for the Arab activists, their positions varied from the video clip, according to their positions on the parties to the Russian war on Ukraine.

Activist Hamad expressed his hatred of the hypocrisy of discrimination by solidarity, writing, "Arab refugees have suffered from all kinds of racism in many countries. But because this girl and her mother with blue eyes attacked the director. I do not justify racism, but I hate hypocrisy."

In turn, Muhammad Yahya called for the restaurant to be closed, and he tweeted, "Abominable racism. What does the nationality of the customer enter into providing the service? They are supposed to get drunk (closing) the restaurant frankly because the issue is very annoying."

in contrast;

Diab called on opponents of the war in Ukraine to go to restaurants that do not support Putin, and said, "From the lack of restaurants that support Ukraine, they go to another place if they do not like the word Putin lives. I want to say he lived, Putin lives, and Russia lives."

Amr justified the behavior of the restaurant manager out of personal freedom, according to him, saying, "All restaurants have the right not to provide their services to whomever they want and for the reasons they want. I see that the manager acts according to his opinion and principle, and he who does not want to not go to him."
