How long will your Nile flow into the vein, narrate longing, awaken memories, and draw a smile? Only you know its ancient eternal secret?
It is Egypt, which is indescribable, bathed every dawn with the light of the universe, and with the rising of the sun shakes off yesterday's frustrations and pains, and returns again.
It is Egypt that we rediscovered in the nights of my life, the one organized by the media office of the UAE government to celebrate fifty years of love between the two countries, in which the young women and men of the Emirates who brought together politicians, economics, art and sports from the two countries in successive sessions, we did not feel with them the time throughout. Three days, during which they woke up the beautiful past with an evening by Umm Kulthum, in which Reham Abdel Hakim sang the same songs that “Kawkab Al Sharq” sang on her first visit to Abu Dhabi, “The Heart Loves Everything Beautiful”, “You are the Love”, and “You are my life”, with real clips. From that visit, and finally, with a party in the middle of the pyramids, everyone was very happy.
Promising young Emirati faces transformed the entire event into heart-to-heart conversations, shortening the distances with a smile, a screen on the face, and harnessing all the possibilities.
Nights of a lifetime made by these young people, in which they summoned the first generation who learned in Egypt and brought them back to the beginnings and to the places that are still engraved in the conscience. decades of age.
Nights of a lifetime, writing a new chapter in the history of relations of understanding, affection and intimacy between the two peoples in the UAE and Egypt, and confirmed by official cooperation and solidarity that has become a role model.
Nights of a lifetime that everyone carried in his memory and his travel bags, along with the eternal question of Egypt: From where did you get all this beautiful pain that you instill in us with a penetrating arrow, which takes every time a vow to return?
