Yuri Shatunov was born on September 6, 1973 in an ambulance on the way to the maternity hospital in the city of Kumertau (Bashkir ASSR).

In the early 1990s, the artist left for Germany, studied as a sound engineer and took up a solo career.

Later, he resumed cooperation with Kuznetsov and began touring again - in 2022 Shatunov performed in Ufa, Cheboksary, Kazan and Kirov.

He has recorded seven albums throughout his solo career.

The musician was married to lawyer Svetlana Shatunova.

The couple met in Germany in 2000.

They have two children, son Dennis and daughter Estella.

Shatunov died on the night of June 23, 2022 at the age of 48.

The cause of the singer's death was a massive heart attack.
