According to the police, at around 8:00 a.m. on the 1st, a woman in her 70s was lying on a sofa in a Japanese-style room on the first floor of a house in Tsurumai, Sakado City, while her 42-year-old daughter was lying on a futon in the same room. The woman's husband found it and reported it to the police.
Her younger daughter said she was already dead when police arrived, and that her clothes were undisturbed and there were no visible injuries.
Her mother, in her 70s, also had no injuries, but she was groggy and she was taken to the hospital.
She is said to have no life-threatening injuries.
