Mechanic replaces his eye with a lamp in the style of the movie "Terminator"

The move of engineer and mechanic, Brian Stanley, to replace his eye with a very powerful lamp became widely known on social media, especially after he posted a video on the “Tik Tok” platform showing the power of his “cyborg” eye lamp in the style of the Terminator movie character. You can light up an entire room.

"I lost my eye to cancer, so I made this and turned my head into a flashlight," Brian said in the video.

The engineer named his invention, the "titanium skull lamp".

"It's perfect for reading in the dark, too!" he added.

Many commented that Brian's work is a great example of what can be achieved with simple off-the-shelf electronics and some smart machines.

The video shows how the lamp works, illuminating Stanley's hallway effortlessly.

What's even more impressive is that the cyborg's eye lights up exactly where the engineer is pointing his head, making it the perfect hands-on tool.

Stanley, who lives in Southern California, wrote that the eye's battery life is about 20 hours, and it "does not get hot."

In fact, the eyes can become brighter.

"This is half of my maximum capacity," he added.

Noting that of course he gives safety standards a lot of attention, and the eye lamp can be turned on and off via what appears to be a proximity sensor.

Futurism reported that Stanley also experimented with a range of different colors, and during Halloween last year, for example, he made filters shaped like ghosts and pumpkins.
