These dead have dignities, followers and shrines scattered everywhere, and in Morocco - for example - there are more than 7000 mausoleums and corners, and there is a small city near Marrakesh called "Qal'at Sraghna" that celebrates annually the season of "Moulay Ibrahim".

He is one of the sheikhs of the Sufi orders, and he is known in Morocco as “The Bird of the Mountains.” He has a shrine in one of the villages of the Haw region. To many, the rituals of the celebration seem somewhat strange.

An episode of "Shabakat" program (10/24/2022) monitored a video clip that spread in Morocco and caused an uproar on social media platforms, where people prey on a live chicken and compete for who will eat it first and drink its blood.

For her part, Maguy commented on the video, saying, "Hadshi, I take off a special dress, asdo the shrines, which have become a den for practicing fraud, sorcery, beggary, theft, immorality and the rituals of the Islamic religion."

As for Yasser, he wrote, "Of course, we cannot say that the whole people are like these, because generalization is the language of the ignorant, and those who are generalized are unjust. But we can say why the state and Moroccans are silent about these things. They must be deterred and punished. This malignant tumor should be eradicated before it spreads to the rest of the body."

As for Abdullah Amghar, he said, "Running with these people, Daba, do you think that if you have chicken kidneys, your life will change for the better and you will have cars, money and palaces and become the successor of Elon Musk? A little bit of reason, my brother."

While Saeed Yahya tweeted, "The brothers who are Kisulu, where is the state? How old are you, these seasons?"

It should be noted that these shrines are sponsored by the government and receive subsidies from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, and royal gifts amounting to millions of dirhams are granted to them in order to renovate and restore them and help in performing their tasks.

But the chicken ritual, which disturbed many, preceded it in 2018, slaughtering a camel and stabbing it in the street, eating its meat raw, and throwing pieces of it to attend with the intention of seeking blessings.

In the following season - that is, in 2019 - the Ministry of Interior issued a decision to prevent camel slaughter, as it used to happen every year, despite the strong opposition this decision met from the season's fans who come to it every year.
