, died Monday at the age of 67 after a car accident, revealed the people site TMZ.
His agent David Shaul confirmed his death to the AP agency.
According to TMZ, Leslie Jordan was on his way to Hollywood when he suffered what is believed to be a "medical emergency" and crashed his BMW head-on into a building.
If he revealed himself through comedy, notably with a recurring role in
Will & Grace
, which won him an Emmy in 2006, he was equally at home in dramas and starred in three seasons of
American Horror Story
.
