Nanchang, the hero city in the golden autumn season, is filled with the fragrance of sweet-scented osmanthus.

Walking into the well-off homes of Jinshun Village, one of the "Top Ten Famous Villages in China" located in Qingshanhu District, one after another, a patchwork of garden-style buildings come into view. Although it has been nearly 20 years since it was delivered in 2005, it is not dilapidated and unobtrusive at all. outdated.

The neighborhood is clean and orderly, with lush flowers and plants.

The villagers strolled in the courtyard, chatted and entertained, and the parents watched the children play and play together. In the Dance Hall of the University for the Elderly in the Community Education Center, 73-year-old Aunt Hu was practicing dance with the teachers.

"This atmosphere is very good, life is more fulfilling, and old age is enjoyable. Our physical and mental health is the best way to reduce the burden for our children and future generations!" In addition to dancing, Aunt Hu also enrolled in yoga, calligraphy, aerobics and other interest classes.

In 2017, Jinshun Village took the lead in establishing the province's first village-level university for the elderly, and also established an amateur dragon lantern team, fan dance team, and waist drum team.

Multi-category, multi-form, multi-level cultural and sports activities make the life of villagers more quality.

Having fun in old age is just a microcosm of the improvement of the quality of life in Jinshun Village.

Just like Aunt Hu, Luo Yuying, the 64-year-old first secretary of Jinshun Village, looks radiant despite her age.

In 1984, at the age of 26, she became the first village director of Jinshun Village. After several years of exploration and accumulation, Jinshun Village entered a stage of rapid development under her leadership since the 1990s, and gradually formed a tertiary industry. As the main body, the park is constructed as two wings, and the development pattern of finance, commerce and logistics multi-industry is simultaneously developed.

At the National "Village Chief" Forum held in 2005, Jinshun Village, Huaxi Village in Jiangsu, Xiaogang Village in Anhui, and Dazhai Village in Shanxi were awarded the "Top Ten Famous Villages in China" at the same time.

"This evaluation is not simply based on the total economic volume, but our village management, economy, people's livelihood and other evaluations are comprehensively ranked in the top ten, and we remained in it until last year." Luo Yuying said.

In 2015, Luo Laichang took over the baton of Jinshun Village's economic construction and served as the new Jinshun Village Party Committee Secretary and Village Committee Director.

In 2018, he was also elected as a deputy to the 13th National People's Congress, bringing the first-line voices of grassroots governance to the National People's Congress.

Luo Yuying is mainly responsible for the construction of spiritual civilization, because in her opinion, everyone should not only have rich pockets, but also rich heads.

"How to activate small cells and serve the big society? It is very important to do a good job in the family. We will encourage everyone to carry forward the good family tradition in various ways."

With the pioneering and successful exploration of rural collective economic development and rural governance, Jinshun Village has also won the "National Advanced Grass-roots Party Organization", "China's Top Ten Well-off Villages", "National Respect for the Elderly Model Village", "National Civilized Village", etc. More than 20 national awards.

In 2021, the collective net income of the village will be more than 59.06 million yuan, and the average annual income of the villagers will be 35,600 yuan.

After the economic development, how to benefit the villagers?

In the comprehensive cultural service center of Jinshun Village, the "26-character formulas" for people's livelihood development on the propaganda board are very eye-catching: arrange the housing well, respect the elderly, educate the young, take care of the weak, and take care of the public.

Ying Shilian and Yang Shuigen, who are over seventy years old, are an elderly couple who lost their only child. They have an annual family income of about 80,000 yuan based on 20 kinds of welfare policies in the village.

According to the relevant policies of elderly people who lost their only child, Ying Shilian participated in a free physical examination not long ago. Unfortunately, she was found to be "seriously ill". She applied to the village for serious illness assistance, and the village quickly sent her 20,000 yuan in relief.

"There are a lot of caring benefits in the village. Knowing that I am not in good health, I will send someone to come to my house every three to five to offer condolences and policies. I am very moved. Last year, my grandson was admitted to graduate school, and the village also sent a scholarship of 20,000 yuan for further studies." , tears flashed in Ying Shilian's eyes.

At present, Jinshun Village has gradually enriched 20 types of welfare guarantees, including share dividends, longevity awards for the elderly, scholarships for further education, critical illness relief funds, and social pooling insurance.

Luo Laichang told reporters that more than 20 million yuan will be spent on villagers' welfare in 2021.

"A good welfare policy is inseparable from the development and growth of the village's collective industry. We must stabilize the welfare that has been issued, and we must improve and enrich it year by year."

As a typical "urban village", Luo Laichang said frankly that Jinshun Village will face development bottlenecks and constraints such as insufficient space for survival and development and shortage of high-precision talents in the future.

"We must further promote industrial upgrading and transformation, find new growth points, make development achievements better benefit the people, and contribute more 'jinshun experience' to rural governance in the new era." (End)
