Amid the astonishment of the judge and the audience, a mother attends the trial instead of her son in Kuwait
One of the courts in Kuwait witnessed an influential humanitarian situation, when the pilgrim called for the name of the accused in one of the cases, so his mother came to the court platform in his place, and said: “I am his mother, and I come instead of him!”
And amid the judge’s astonishment from the scene, the court made it clear to the mother that this is not permissible and that the law requires the presence of the accused himself.
I will not answer him to imprison him!”, according to Al-Qabas newspaper.
And the mother continued: “Bad companions dragged him to abuse, and my son is upbringing, and I, or how can I bear my son weave?”
In the face of this human circumstance, the court took into account the mother's condition and explained to her the mercy of the law and its consideration of human conditions, and that the son must be brought to trial until the correct legal procedures take place. She calmed down after wiping her tears and left the courtroom to bring her son in the next session.
