The Departmental Directorate for the Protection of the Population of Val-d'Oise carried out an extensive health check on the Cergy-Saint-Christophe market, reports

Supported by police officers, the agents inspected the shops and stands, carrying out a total of 35 checks.

The DDPP drew up eight reports and two formal notices.

Twelve warnings were issued to professionals and an employee without a residence permit or work permit was identified, can we read in a post from the prefecture on Twitter.

A fast food stand closed in emergency

In detail, around twenty non-compliant cosmetic products were seized and 150 kg of meat were thrown away.

For some foodstuffs, the storage temperature was not respected.

The “La Stidia” fast food stand was also urgently closed by the inspectors.

In recent months, other markets in the department have been checked, in Sarcelles or Garges-lès-Gonesse, our colleagues recall.

For the first, 400 kg of meat had been destroyed and on the second, 250 kg had been seized.
