So much so that the students participating in a cross-school had to be put in safety as a precaution.

The families had put forward the idea of ​​launching a petition to demand a ban on hunting near the establishment.

In the end, they didn't need it.

Thursday, the town hall of Amiens issued a municipal decree to this effect.

A no-hunting zone of 150 m

The city goes even further, considering in particular that the "departmental hunting management plan has shortcomings in terms of exclusion zones very close to dwellings or communal facilities".

The municipal decree establishes a kind of general exclusion zone, "prohibiting any hunting action, in particular shooting", within a perimeter of 150 m around residential areas from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and around equipment. municipal (schools, stadiums, etc.) from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
