Editor's note: Every Chinese who works hard to live is the most beautiful struggler.

It is precisely because of hundreds of millions of strugglers that China is today.

For ten years, pay tribute to every struggle of you.

Let us work together to forge ahead in the new era, and work hard towards the future.

China News Service, Ningbo, October 21 (Linbo Ark Feng Jiayin) "The newly introduced hybrid rice grows tall and has large ears. This year is a bumper year. It is estimated that the late rice harvest can reach 600 kilograms per mu." Recently, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province Ni Jingjie couldn't hide his joy when looking at the heavy ears of rice as the late rice harvested in various places.

From Shandong to Zhejiang, from the north to the south, with his love for the land, "Shandong Dahan" Ni Jingjie spent more than ten years sowing the road to a bumper harvest, and paved a happy and well-off road with golden rice.

Wearing a camouflage uniform and gray jeans, a pair of black and green sneakers, and a "Shandong version" of Mandarin... Ni Jingjie, who looks like an "old peasant", is actually a "post-80s".

Ni Jingjie was born in the countryside of Linyi, Shandong, and has been dealing with land and crops since he was a child.

In 2010, Ni Jingjie came to Ningbo to work and found that many farmlands in nearby villages were idle.

Ni Jingjie wanted to farm the land, and the village also wanted to "revive" the fields, and the two sides hit it off.

So, he contracted 52 mu of land, spent nearly a year's salary, bought the first cultivator, and started the road of growing grain in Jiangbei District, Ningbo City.

In the first year, Ni Jingjie failed.

There is a big difference between the land in the north and the south. The soil in the south is more sticky and has good water and fertilizer retention performance; the soil in the north is looser, and the performance of water and fertilizer retention is poor.

Ni Jingjie ignored the characteristics of the paddy fields in the south of the country with good fertilizer retention performance when fertilizing. Too much nitrogen fertilizer caused the rice to dry out.

It took three years for the unsatisfactory harvest to begin to improve.

Although there have been failures, in the more than ten years of farming life in Zhejiang, there is no lack of all kinds of warmth.

During the busy farming season, he got up early and didn't have time to eat breakfast. The neighbors put food into his hands, such as duck eggs, eggs, and steamed buns, and gave him different patterns.

"The environment here is good, and people are full of warmth. I feel very happy." Ni Jingjie said.

Taking advantage of his youth, Ni Jingjie wanted to expand his farming career.

In 2020, his fields have expanded to more than 200 mu.

In order to improve farming efficiency, Ni Jingjie decided to buy new agricultural machinery.

The price of the rice transplanter is 77,000 yuan, and the government subsidy is 50,000 yuan; the price of the crawler-type rotary tiller is 180,000 yuan, and the cost after the subsidy is less than 50,000 yuan... With the guarantee of the subsidy policy, Ni Jingjie is even more "buy it when you say it".

"Machine is a good helper for agricultural work." While Ni Jingjie became a big grain grower, he also took the lead in using drones in this area and became a big farm machinery owner.

From more than 50 mu to more than 500 mu, the land contracted by Ni Jingjie has increased tenfold, but farming has become easier and easier.

Two years ago, Ni Jingjie decided to use a part of the land as a test field, and use new fertilizers, organic fertilizers, precision fertilization by drones and other efficient fertilization methods for different kinds of rice seeds.

"Each area is a different kind of rice, which must be transplanted manually and cannot use machines." Ni Jingjie said, hoping to achieve high grain yield in the most environmentally friendly and long-term way.

Adhering to the concept of ecological planting, the more food the better, the more land he has contracted, he has naturally become a well-known local grain grower, but he always maintains a humble attitude, asks agricultural technical experts for their experience, and constantly enriches the cultivation of grain. Skill.

"It's good to farm in 'Zhejiang'. Now, our couple's annual income has more than doubled compared to 12 years ago." Ni Jingjie felt the happiness of the new era.
