For the photo on Schwarzenegger's Instagram page, the two proudly posed with a long blade on the pumpkin face.
It seems long forgotten that things were not always harmonious between the actors.
As Stallone admitted a few months ago, the two felt "brutal hatred" for each other for years.
The falling out began in 1977, when Schwarzenegger poked fun at Stallone's film "Rocky" which failed in various categories at the Golden Globes.
The fact that Stallone threw a vase full of lilies at Schwarzenegger at the time didn't improve the relationship.
The actors later reconnected while filming joint films such as "The Expendables" and "Escape Plan".
Today, the 75-year-old Austrian-born Schwarzenegger and Stallone, who is one year older, have a close friendship.
