Warning, sensitive subject.

The list of products authorized, prohibited or subject to sale for the 2022 edition of Strasbourg Capitale de Noël sparked debate and controversy last week.

Among the products banned from the chalets, there were initially raclette, champagne, ponchos, Christmas boots, headbands, Christmas grogs.

This list was, according to the town hall, a working and provisional document and should not have been published in the press, its publication agitated far beyond Strasbourg like Bordeaux's renunciation of its Christmas tree in 2020. The error of communication has turned into media frenzy and an attempt at political recovery.

But has allowed some and others to wonder what we should or should not find in the chalets of the Alsatian capital.

And you?
