This tournament was held for the first time in three years because it was held by groups created by barber shops nationwide, and was canceled last year and the year before last due to the influence of the new coronavirus.



At the prefectural Budokan in Akita City, which was the venue for this year, about 150 barbers who won the qualifying rounds all over the country gathered.



The competition was divided into 5 divisions, and in the division that competed for men's hairstyles, in addition to basic techniques, they competed for the design of hair color in a time limit of 35 minutes.



The barbers quickly cut the mannequin's hair with scissors, and finished the hair color in consideration of the balance with the costume, expressing their ingenuity.
