In late autumn, on the surface of Daolang Lake, which is more than twice the area of Chaoxi Lake in Maigaiti County, Kashgar, Xinjiang, red and green Daolang flowers bloom in succession.
The scientific name of Daolanghua is Polygonum amphibians, which is one of the few aquatic plants in Xinjiang.
Because Maigeti County is the only county seat embedded in a desert in China, it is about 13 kilometers away from the world's second largest mobile desert, the Taklimakan Desert, so the locals cherish this lake.
The total area of Daolang Lake is over 13.4 square kilometers, and there are countless islands hidden in it, also known as "Daolang Qiandao Lake".
In late autumn every year, the lake is gleaming and wild birds are flocked, making it a resting place for locals to enjoy flowers and swim in the lake.
