According to Liu Yuanjun, a second-level researcher of the Hohhot Municipal Health Commission, from 0:00 to 24:00 on October 11, 2022, there were 28 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in Hohhot, including 8 asymptomatic infections. 374 cases were confirmed; 51 newly confirmed cases were cured and discharged, and 5 cases of asymptomatic infection were released from isolation and medical observation.
As of 24:00 on October 11, Hohhot had 862 confirmed cases and 3,431 asymptomatic infections.
Since October 12, Hohhot has adjusted the risk level of some areas. After the adjustment, the city has 452 high-risk areas and 125 medium-risk areas.
Zhang Xiaoying, deputy director of the Sports Health and Labor Education Department of the Inner Mongolia Department of Education, introduced that after the outbreak, the campuses of colleges and universities in Hohhot implemented closed management and all changed to online education and teaching.
In order to prevent the social epidemic from entering the campus, all teachers, students and employees are closed.
