The British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported that a "Boeing Dreamlighter" lost one of its wheels, weighing 100 kilograms, seconds after taking off from Taranto Airport in Italy.

Despite the fall of the wheel, the plane landed safely in the United States.

Boeing said in a statement: "The Dreamlifter, operated by Atlas Aviation, landed safely earlier today at Charleston International Airport, after losing a wheel of its landing gear on takeoff from Taranto Airport."

The broken wheel was found outside the airport boundary in southern Italy.
