explains , the European Commission launched this program on Tuesday offering 35,000 train tickets.
The offer concerns 18-year-olds residing "in one of the EU member countries or in a non-EU country associated with Erasmus +" (Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey ), is it explained on the European Youth Portal.
Applications are open until October 25.

Questions to make the selection
Only young people born between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2004 can apply for and claim a free ticket.
In particular, they will have to answer five multiple-choice questions and one subsidiary question.
"If you are selected, you will be able to travel for a minimum of one day and a maximum of 30 days between March 1, 2023 and February 29, 2024", it is specified on the portal.
The lucky winners will also receive a DiscoverEU card, “offering discounts on cultural visits, learning activities, sports activities, local transport, accommodation, food, etc.

In total, more than 165,000 young people have benefited from a transport ticket since the launch of this initiative in June 2018.
