The search for missing persons is still ongoing, and on August 18, a search party of the 1st Regional Coast Guard Headquarters found a total of 11 human bones in Bunkichi Bay at the tip of the peninsula. rice field.



According to the Japan Coast Guard Headquarters, as a result of the police appraisal, both bones matched the DNA type of a 46-year-old passenger living in Osaka who was missing in the sinking accident.



The Japan Coast Guard has not released the real name of the deceased as the consent of the bereaved family has not been obtained.
