In connection with the health ministers' meeting of the G7 Hiroshima Summit to be held in Nagasaki in May next year, coordination is underway for the health ministers of participating countries to visit the Atomic Bomb Museum in Nagasaki. I understood from the interview.

Along with the G7 summit = summit meeting of seven major countries to be held in Hiroshima in May next year, 14 ministerial meetings will be held in various places, of which the health ministers' meeting will be held on May 13 next year. And for two days on the 14th, it will be held at "Dejima Messe Nagasaki" in Nagasaki City where international conferences can be held.

According to interviews with relevant parties, arrangements are underway for the health ministers of the G7 participating countries to visit the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum in Nagasaki City in conjunction with this meeting.

Nagasaki Prefecture and Nagasaki City, which invited the health ministers' meeting, hope that the health ministers of each country will come into contact with the reality of the atomic bombing.

It is expected that the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will visit the city of Nagasaki before making a final decision on where the Minister of Health will visit. I am planning to visit the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Nagasaki University, where I have been conducting research, and Dejima Messe Nagasaki, where the meeting will be held.

This is the first time that a ministerial meeting accompanying the G7 Summit will be held in Nagasaki Prefecture.

The G7 Hiroshima Summit will be held from May 19th to 21st next year.
