  Cima admitted frankly that before coming to China, he actually didn't know much about Chinese culture. "I like watching movies of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li. It can be said that I became interested in Chinese culture through Chinese movies."

  Influenced by Chinese action movies, in 2015, Xima joined the Hebei University International Wushu Team together with his good friend Zhao Zilong from Sudan, whom he met while studying comic dialogue.

  In the process of learning martial arts, Xima encountered many difficulties.

"Especially when I practice martial arts, because I didn't practice martial arts since I was a child, some movements are difficult for me to do." However, Xima believes that "practice makes perfect", and after continuous hard practice, he has basically mastered it after a few years.   After graduating from university in 2016, in order to continue to study martial arts, Xima stayed in Hebei University to study for a master's degree.

In May 2016, West Malaysia participated in the "Wudong Beijing Love Winter Olympics - 2016 Martial Arts Conference for International Students in China" and won the Excellence Award.

  In order to better realize his dream, in 2019, Xima chose to stay in Hebei University to study for a doctoral degree in journalism and communication.

In 2020, West Malaysia was rated as "Outstanding International Students in China" by the Chinese Ministry of Education.

  Regarding the city where he has lived for ten years on the road of chasing his dreams, Xima said that Baoding has become more and more beautiful, the roads have become more spacious, and the traffic has become more and more developed.

  "The current Baoding Railway Station has changed a lot, and it is very different from before. There are many new houses and new buildings in the urban area. During the summer vacation, I was invited to visit the Daji Store. The Chinese countryside is really beautiful, there There are also a lot of Chinese culture and arts." Speaking of the changes in Baoding over the years, West Malaysia is a treasure.

  Currently, West Malaysia is preparing his doctoral dissertation on the transmission of traditions in Niger.

He expressed that he hoped to use the communication knowledge he learned in China to promote the development of Niger's communication industry, and also hoped that more Nigerien young people could understand Chinese language, Chinese martial arts and Chinese culture.

  "I will continue to practice Chinese martial arts. After graduation, I plan to return to China to open a Chinese martial arts gym.
