In the golden autumn of October, in the south of Tumushuke City in southern Xinjiang, millions of acres of Populus euphratica forests have turned yellow, ushering in the best viewing season.

Viewed from the air, the 2.06 million mu contiguous Populus euphratica dense area stretches as far as the eye can see, and the Yeerqiang River flows quietly to form a beautiful picture of water-colored Populus euphratica.

The big Populus euphratica and the less than 5-year-old Populus euphratica greeted the late autumn together. Under the sunlight, the golden leaves were confident and full of posture.

Since 2017, the Yeerqiang River, an important tributary in the upper and middle reaches of the Tarim River, has begun to transport water to the Populus euphratica forest within the basin area, and the nourished and lush Populus euphratica forest has become a "golden ecological barrier" blocking the desert.
