Over the past week, controversies involving Kanye West have followed each other.

It started during fashion week in Paris, Kanye West, who now goes by the name Ye, attracted a lot of attention and criticism after wearing a t-shirt with the text "White Lives Matter".

A phrase that the international organization Anti-defamation league, whose aim is to stop slander against the Jewish people, called hateful.

Accusing the colleague of being controlled by Jews

The shirt and a series of subsequent tweets are now accused of being anti-Semitic, reports The New York Times, among others.

Industry colleague Sean Combs, known by the stage name P Diddy, also criticized the shirt in a video on social media.

Something that made Kanye West share pictures of a text conversation with Combs in which he claims that he is "controlled by Jews".

On Twitter, he has also written that he will apply "def con 3 to Jewish people", which is a reference to the US defense readiness level "defcon".

Comedian Sarah Silverman has also responded to West's outburst.

“Kanye threatened Jews on twitter and it's not even trending?

Why is it mostly Jews who raise their voices against anti-Semitism?

The silence is so loud," she writes on Twitter.

Instagram and Twitter have since removed the posts, and the rapper's account has been suspended indefinitely but not deleted.

The clothing brand Adidas has also announced that it will "review the collaboration" with Kanye West's own brand "Yeezy".
