According to the Metropolitan Police Department, after 2:30 pm on the 10th, the fire department was notified that a wall had collapsed and a person was trapped under it at a construction site in Machida City.



At the scene, a man in his 40s who was working to level the soil of a residential area was rescued under a collapsed fence and was taken to a hospital, but died about two hours later.

At that time, three workers were working at different places to remove the soil after the house was demolished, and the stone wall surrounding the site was about 2 meters high and 14 meters long. It means that it collapsed for a while and fell inside.
