Wutu Village is located in Dazhou Town, Wanzhou District, Chongqing, in the heart of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area.

Recently, the reporter came to Wutu Village following the online theme campaign of "Three Gorges".

Many years ago, the villagers of Wutu Village went out to work, leaving only the elderly and children behind. It is a well-known "hollow village".

After several years of renovation and construction, the riverside promenade winding along the river, like a jade belt, connects pavilions, wooden houses and squares in series, becoming a beautiful landscape.

The Zhongshan cedar on the ebb and flow zone is soaked in the water, showing a unique view of "still holding a pipa half-covered", and the number of tourists to Wutu Village has gradually increased.

In 2018, He Xia, who was working in Chengdu, decided to quit her job outside and returned to the village to open a homestay.

But who would have thought that behind such a high-quality riverside greenway, there used to be a "scar" on the river bank where rubbish and mosquitoes were flying.

Due to the construction of the Three Gorges Project, Yunyang was relocated along the river.

On the basis of restoring the ecosystem of the river bank, combine the construction of greenway around the lake with the improvement of urban quality.

The 33-kilometer greenway around the lake links 6 attractive zones and more than 30 leisure nodes into a chain, creating an urban waterfront space where you can enjoy riding, walking, running, and sitting, enjoying landscapes, flowers, rocks, and literature, history, science, and art.

This "scar" on the river bank has transformed into a city business card.

The urban sewage and garbage treatment in the reservoir area has achieved full coverage.

The forest coverage rate has increased from 41.8% to 53%, and the ecological environment has been significantly improved.

It presents a beautiful view of a river with clear water and green mountains on both sides.
