The Ministry of Culture and Youth organized a celebration of the Prophet’s Birthday, yesterday, Saturday, at the Abu Dhabi Creative Center, which included various shows in the love of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, performed by local and Arab groups, expressing the love of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in addition to a dialogue session that reviewed the history of art. The Minister of Culture and Youth, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, who witnessed the event "Expressions of the birth", said: "The ministry's interest in celebrating this occasion stems from its religious, historical and cultural importance to the Emirati society, which used to revive this fragrant occasion, evoke the biography of the Prophet and draw lessons from it, so that his presence continues in the minds of Young people, and learn from his biography the values ​​of tolerance, brotherhood and coexistence.”

She noted that the art of religious chanting, known as "Al-Malid", is one of the most prominent local traditional arts that embody the culture of the UAE, its authentic values, and the extent to which its people are linked to their Arab and Islamic cultural heritage. The Ministry's keenness to continue this legacy was translated by organizing an event that is interested in introducing it, especially among the youth.

The event began with an evening of chanting by the Syrian vocalist Noureddine Khurshid and his band, which presented the most beautiful paintings and eulogies that sang the love of the Prophet, followed by a performance by the Moroccan “Hadra Chefshawaneh” ensemble, which created a group of Moroccan religious songs and pieces.

The event also witnessed a dialogue session that discussed “The Arts of Mald in the UAE”, in which Emirati performer Ali bin Yarouf Al Mansouri, Emirati researcher Thani Al Muhairi, and artist Ammar Al Attar participated. The Emirati local for "Al-Mad", presented by Mubarak Al-Otaiba Folklore and Heritage Troupe, and included authentic Emirati collective songs to the rhythms of tambourines and songs dedicated to Al-Mad.
